VICE PRESIDENT
Sam Manning Site: Southwestern College Email: [email protected] Hi everyone! My name is Sam Manning and I am your Future Athletic Trainers Society Vice President for the 2021-2022 school year. Growing up, I was introduced into the world of athletics and quickly found my appreciation for the opportunities athletics brought me. As a former competitive gymnast and club soccer goalie, my careers in both avenues were riddled with injuries. Between the knee surgeries and various dislocations, I realized how important it is to have an on site certified Athletic Trainer for immediate and emergency care. Following graduation, I hope to pursue my masters in either Sports Management or Sports Psychology while working as an assistant athletic trainer at the community college level. |
SECRETARY
Ely Gudino Site: San Diego City College Email: [email protected] Hi everyone! My name is Ely Gudino and I am your 2021-2022 F.A.T.S secretary. I was born and raised in the Bay Area and I am now a 4th year at SDSU earning my bachelors in athletic training. I am currently doing my clinical experience at San Diego City College and I will be going to USD in the spring. After SDSU, my goal is to earn my masters in something sports medicine related to expand my knowledge/experience and possibly looking for a GA-ship. My ultimate athletic training goal is to one day work with professional baseball (Go Dodgers!), but I'm also thinking of working at the community college level since I'm really enjoying it right now and I'm excited to see what the collegiate level is like next semester. |

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS
Zoe Moura Site: San Diego Mesa College Email: [email protected] Hi there! I'm Zoe Moura, and I am incredibly proud to call myself Director of Communications for this year's Future Athletic Training Society. My current site is Mesa Community College, assigned to football and women's volleyball. I grew up playing soccer, and in the future I hope to work more closely with a soccer team, whether it be at the junior college or university level. I found athletic training in high school because I took the wrong class, and I fell in love with it instantly. I love the chaotic nature! This year I hope to get all the new and current members of F.A.T.S involved in their future and host a number of interactive guest speakers to guide us forward. |
HISTORIAN
Breyonne Williams Site: Cuyamaca College Email: [email protected] Breyonne's current clinical site is Cuyamaca College where she assists with men's basketball and soccer. She's from Los Angeles, California. She grew up playing basketball and was also a cheerleader for a few years. The injuries that came with those helped spark her interest in sports medicine. She chose athletic training after going through her own rehab after an ACL reconstruction surgery. Outside of athletic training, Breyonne loves to go to the beach, movies, and hang with friends back home in LA. After undergrad, she plans on attending graduate school to further her education. She hopes to one day work for the NBA or WNBA. |
